I am so happy you checked out our page! My name is Nancy Coish and I am a registered social worker with 35 years of experience in health care and the mental health field. I am currently working with the Status of Women Central as an intimate partner and family violence counselor. I work with women and non-binary individuals who are experiencing, have experienced or feel that they are threatened by violence or abuse in a relationship. Our FREE services are rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered and feminist approaches.

We offer counselling services in person, by phone and virtually through services like Zoom. We recognize that we cover a large geographical region and that getting to our Center in Grand Falls Windsor, NL is not always possible. Call me to discuss, as I am able to travel throughout the region.
